Refund Policy
All payments to TaskWithAI are non-refundable, except in the limited circumstances set out below.
TaskWithAI is a product of Cloudifyapps (OPC) Private Limited, an Indian company. The following terms apply to every payment made for the TaskWithAI service, whether processed through Razorpay (INR) or Stripe (USD). This Policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. 7-day free trial
Every new workspace receives 7 days of free access to evaluate the product before paying anything. No credit card is required to start. We strongly encourage you to use the trial period to confirm TaskWithAI fits your needs — once a paid subscription begins, the terms below apply.
2. Subscription payments
Once a subscription is activated and the first payment is captured by our payment processor (Razorpay for INR; Stripe for USD), the payment is final and non-refundable. This applies to every subsequent monthly or annual renewal as well. By starting a paid subscription, you authorise us to charge the relevant payment instrument at each renewal until you cancel.
3. Adding seats mid-cycle
When you add additional seats partway through a billing cycle, the prorated charge for those seats is captured immediately and is non-refundable. The seats are made available to you as soon as the payment is confirmed.
4. Reducing seats
You may reduce the number of paid seats at any time. The reduction takes effect at the next renewal — until that time you retain access to all paid seats. No refund or credit will be issued for seats removed before the end of the billing cycle.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel the subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. The workspace will continue to be usable until the end of the current billing cycle. The current cycle’s payment will not be refunded. After the cycle ends, the workspace is locked until a new subscription is started. You may export your workspace data using the in-app exports (CSV / XLSX) before or after cancellation; see §6 for the data-retention window.
6. Data export and post-cancellation retention
Independent of any refund right, you have the following data-related rights, which are free of charge:
- You can export your data at any time while the workspace is active.
- After cancellation, your workspace data is retained for 30 days to allow recovery. Within that window we will help you re-enable the workspace or extract your data on written request.
- After the 30-day window, workspace data is permanently deleted from production systems; encrypted backups may persist for up to 90 additional days before rolling out of rotation.
- Personal-data subject rights under the GDPR and DPDP Act (access, correction, erasure, portability, withdrawal of consent) remain available independently of the paid subscription — see our Privacy Policy.
7. Failed, duplicate or unauthorised charges
If you believe you have been charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge caused by a payment-gateway fault, a charge after a verified cancellation, or an unauthorised charge on a card you control — please email [email protected] within 7 days of the charge with the transaction reference and a brief description.
We will investigate and, where the error is verified, work with Razorpay or Stripe to reverse the affected transaction. This is not a refund right — it is a correction of a payment-processing error. Where the error is on our side, the reversal will be issued to the original payment instrument within 10 business days of verification.
8. Service-level credits
We do not currently offer a contractual SLA for paying customers. If a major incident causes prolonged unavailability of the Services, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a service credit against future invoices. Service credits are not redeemable for cash and do not constitute a refund.
9. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank — most issues can be resolved directly. A chargeback initiated without first contacting us may, at our discretion, result in immediate suspension of the workspace and additional bank fees being passed through.
10. Consumer rights (India)
Nothing in this Policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Information Technology Act, 2000, or the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Where the law grants you a refund or remedy that this Policy does not, the law prevails.
11. Limitation of liability
Our total liability in connection with any payment, refund or billing matter is, in all cases, subject to the limitations and the cap on aggregate liability set out in our Terms & Conditions, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to the dispute-resolution clause in our Terms & Conditions, the courts at the seat of our registered office (see contact below) have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy.
